ALL EYES WILL BE ON MICHIGAN

ALL EYES WILL BE ON MICHIGAN
URGENT CLARIANT CALL

On May 16th, 2011 I had a very specific dream in regards to Michigan.  I shared this dream with only eight people outside my immediate family.  One very specific point was made aware in my spirit (I truly believe this was from the Lord).  ALL EYES WILL BE ON MICHIGAN.  I have never dreamed about Michigan before and the only dream I have had about an area at large was Grand Rapids, MI. which took place, April of 2007.

I must say I am very surprise at the way; ALL EYES HAVE TURNED TO MICHIGAN AND ESPECIALLY TO Grand Rapids.  Recently a video of the GRLipDub not only spread the nation but has swept the world, turning eyes to MI.  This video was produced to prove there is life in GR and it is not dying!

People of God; the Lord wants to heal our land, He wants to restore Michigan and I believe there is a huge promise on the way ~ if we will do our part and respond.

OUR PART:

2 Chr. 7:14  "if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
15  "Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to prayer made in this place.

Esther 4:14  "For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father's house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?"
15  Then Esther told them to reply to Mordecai:
16  "Go, gather all the Jews who are present in Shushan, and fast for me; neither eat nor drink for three days, night or day. My maids and I will fast likewise. And so I will go to the king, which is against the law; and if I perish, I perish!"

DIGGING FOR GOLD

DIGGING FOR GOLD
Gold hit an all time high on May 10th at $1492.00 an ounce.  Silver reached $35.26 not an all time high.  Silver’s high was Jan. of 1980 where it reached $50.35 an ounce; that same month gold’s high was $875.00 per ounce.  Whoever purchased gold at the high end in Jan. of 1980 had to wait over 27 years to even break even.  But if you were to figure in the cost of living and inflation those gold buyers are still in the hole (today’s money that $875.00 for an ounce of gold would be over $2400.00 an ounce).  If you were one of those lucky ones who purchased silver in the 80’s, well you guessed it you are still in the hole.
After years of waiting, Dan has sold off all our gold and silver investments which were made in the 80’s.  I would like to think we at least broke even but both of us realize; we would have been better off sticking that money in the bank and not touching it for thirty years.
Did you know the Bible has insight for us when it comes to silver and gold?  The word gold is mentioned 452 times, silver is mentioned 321 times.
When we look at the spiritual meaning of gold as it is related to, in the Bible we will find gold means:  truth, precious, righteousness, the glory of God, rare and does not tarnish.  Silver means:  revelation knowledge of God as referred to in Proverbs 2:3-7 (NKJV) Yes, if you cry out for discernment, And lift up your voice for understanding, If you seek her as silver, And search for her as for hidden treasures; Then you will understand the fear of the Lord, And find the knowledge of God. For the Lord gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding; He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to those who walk uprightly;
In the book of Job, Job searches for answers comparing wisdom and understanding to be worth much more than gold or silver.  Job 28:12-15 (NKJV) says; “But where can wisdom be found? And where is the place of understanding? Man does not know its value, Nor is it found in the land of the living. The deep says, ‘It is not in me’; And the sea says, ‘It is not with me.’ It cannot be purchased for gold, Nor can silver be weighed for its price.
Studying the following verses will give us some additional insight.
Psalms 19:10(NKJV)
    More to be desired are they than gold, Yea, than much fine gold; Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

Psalms 21:3(NKJV)
    For You meet him with the blessings of goodness; You set a crown of pure gold upon his head.

Proverbs 3:14(NKJV)
    For her proceeds are better than the profits of silver, And her gain than fine gold.

Proverbs 8:10(NKJV)
    Receive my instruction, and not silver, And knowledge rather than choice gold;

Proverbs 16:16(NKJV)
    How much better to get wisdom than gold! And to get understanding is to be chosen rather than silver.
We can learn where our investments should be if we study the following verses:

Matthew 6:19-21(NKJV)
“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal;  but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.  For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Matthew 6:24(NKJV)
“No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.

Matthew 13:44(NKJV)
“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.

Mark 10:21(NKJV)
Then Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, “One thing you lack: Go your way, sell whatever you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, take up the cross, and follow Me.”

There will be a grand finale; the culmination of “the day of the Lord”.  Haggai 2:4-9 (NKJV) says;

Yet now be strong, Zerubbabel,’ says the Lord; ‘and be strong, Joshua, son of Jehozadak, the high priest; and be strong, all you people of the land,’ says the Lord, ‘and work; for I am with you,’ says the Lord of hosts.  ‘According to the word that I covenanted with you when you came out of Egypt, so My Spirit remains among you; do not fear!’ “For thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘Once more (it is a little while) I will shake heaven and earth, the sea and dry land;
and I will shake all nations, and they shall come to the Desire of All Nations, and I will fill this temple with glory,’ says the Lord of hosts.  ‘The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine,’ says the Lord of hosts.  ‘The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former,’ says the Lord of hosts. ‘And in this place I will give peace,’ says the Lord of hosts.”

One thing for sure; God’s gold and silver never decreases in value!

Happy Mother's Day to Daughters Once a Daughter ~ Always a Daughter

You may not know how hard it is to let go.
Even though you may have children of your own.
The mother’s heart does not change,
regardless of your age.

You may not know the desire I have,
to gather you in…
from all the trials and issues you face each day;
but then again you may not know,
that trial brought forth a victory.

You may not know the thoughts the prayers,
that come your way each and everyday,
that the Lord would grant to you each and everyday
the grace, power and mercy for that day.

You may not know that my heart hurts,
just as your heart hurts.

You may not know the joy I share, as you rejoice,
I rejoice.

You may not know what your future holds.
But rest assured,
I am there praying for your best,
because once a daughter ~ always a daughter.

You may not know how proud I am,
of my three.

Happy Mother’s Day
Love, Mom

ALWAYS A MOTHER

ALWAYS A MOTHER
The news may have been unexpected, shocking or long awaited but for most women once they learn they are going to be a mother ~ that they are carrying a child excitement begins to build.  Your emotions go on a roller coaster ride of ups and downs, screams and laughter.  You wonder; am I having a girl or boy, what will they look like, will the baby be healthy, will there be enough money, will I be a good mother or just plain…I am scared what if I blow this thing called motherhood.
Mother’s embrace this challenge with determination and fortitude.  Each season of motherhood takes you through new trials and new victories.  Surely without the enablement of God the overwhelming task of motherhood will cause weariness and doubt of your ability or sensibility to be a Mom.
If you were to ask any woman who has reached her silver years she would let you know; once a mother ~ always a mother, it is a life long role.
Let’s take a look at an amazing mother of the Bible, Jochebed.
What stood out in Jochebed’s life that forever etched her name in the Word of God?
What can we learn from Jochebed’s life that will leave a lasting impression of great motherhood?

The story of Jochebed is taken out of:  Exodus 2:1-10, Exodus 6:20, Numbers 26:59.

The name Jochebed means:   heavy, honorable, glorious

According to the scriptures I just mentioned we know the following about this mother.

She was:

  • Daughter of Levi.
  • Wife of Amram of the house of Levi.
  • Mother of Miriam, Aaron, and Moses.
  • She desperately tried to save her new born son’s life, first hiding him; then by placing him in a floatable basket in hope of his survival. Miriam watched to see what would happen.
  • Pharaoh’s daughter took Moses as her own.
  • Miriam was sent by Pharaoh’s daughter to have Jochebed nurse him.
  • Jochebed worked for Pharaoh’s daughter nursing Moses (until he was approximately seven years old. Aaron would have been three years old when Moses was born). It is possible that Miriam and Jochebed had great favor at the palace and with Pharaoh’s daughter. They most likely lived close to the palace, on palace grounds, or even in servant quarters. They may have done other work for Pharaoh’s daughter.
  • It is not known if Jochebed lived to see Moses lead the people out of Egypt.

Jochebed faced great sacrifice in her life as many mothers do.  For the life of her child she acted quickly to save him, who would eventually save the nation of Israel from bondage.  It must have been a very heavy burden to bear.  God honored the sacrifice of this mothers love and opened a way for a miracle.

In Exodus chapter 2 verses 3-9; Miriam places Moses in the river and watches until Pharaoh’s daughter withdraws him.  Miriam acts quickly and suggests to Pharaoh’s daughter; that she retrieve a nurse from among the Hebrew women.  Jochebed is restored to her child and has the priviledge of raising him; however, it is at a cost.  She cannot reveal she is his true mother, she lays down her own desires for the sake of her child and eventually Israel’s experiences freedom from bondage through Moses.  Unfortunately scripture does not reveal to us if Jochebed had the privilege of seeing Israel set free.  This woman’s sacrifice paved the way for one of Biblical histories greatest stories.  Many of you as mothers may feel as though what you have done or are doing will not matter.  However; I encourage you to press on, we just do not know what God will do with a simple Mother’s faith or what part in history it will play.

Let’s take a look at  to how Jesus honored His earthly mother:
(John 19:25-27 NKJV)  Now there stood by the cross of Jesus His mother, and His mother's sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene. When Jesus therefore saw His mother, and the disciple whom He loved standing by, He said to His mother, "Woman, behold your son!" Then He said to the disciple, "Behold your mother!" And from that hour that disciple took her to his own home.
Evidently Joseph was no longer alive at this time and Jesus had been caring for his mother.  Even at the point of death at His most critical moment Jesus honored His earthly mother and made provisions for her care.  What a great picture of HONOR.

We as humans are not perfect, but each of us I believe have parts that are excellent.  Today let all of us reflect on the excellent parts of our mothers.  Mothers you are worthy of being honored not only today but everyday because you have made great investments into the lives of your children and others around you.  I commend you.

ROYAL KISS ~ HONEYMOON DELAYED

The magic moment every wedding guest waits for ~ the KISS.  The kiss is at the end of the wedding ceremony and it almost gives you the impression that it seals the deal. Every bride waits with anticipation for that moment wondering just how her groom will display his love for her in front of the witnesses. I still to this day remember that moment when Dan kissed me.  I thought yes; all my dreams will come true.  I truly felt like royalty that very moment, just as every young woman does.
We married on Saturday April 29th and on Monday it was back to work for both of us.  I was very disappointed not being able to experience a honeymoon immediately after the wedding, as would any young bride.  Ten years later Dan and I would finally be able to have our honeymoon.  I must say it was well worth the wait for we spent a week in beautiful Hawaii and loved every moment of it.
When we accept Jesus Christ as our Savior, Lord and King it’s like the kiss a bride experiences on her wedding day.  The kiss is a promise of many more intimate moments to come in our relationship.  A promise that if we are sincere participants of this relationship it will deepen and grow with each passing moment, month and year.  A promise of a deeper knowledge, wisdom and revelation of our beloved.
Sometimes as believers I think we His bride are experiencing a delayed honeymoon.  But I guarantee our honeymoon will happen.  Our King has promised we are going to experience the honeymoon of all honeymoons!
Just as I had to make preparations for my delayed honeymoon with Dan, we the Bride of Christ must make ourselves ready for the honeymoon of all centuries.  In Revelations 19:7b it says; For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready.
We have been given advance notice, however many of us are not prepared and the Bible says:
(Mat 22:8 NIV)  "Then he said to his servants, 'The wedding banquet is ready, but those I invited did not deserve to come.
(Mat 22:14 NIV)  "For many are invited, but few are chosen."
(Mat. 7:21-23 NIV)  "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?' Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'
Have you accepted the kiss of salvation?  Are you prepared for the honeymoon of a lifetime?  Some of us are and others are not; there is a promise for both:
(Rev 21:6-8 NIV)  He said to me: "It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To him who is thirsty I will give to drink without cost from the spring of the water of life. He who overcomes will inherit all this, and I will be his God and he will be my son. But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars--their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death."
Oh yes, the King is coming!
(1 Tim 6:15 NKJV)  which He will manifest in His own time, He who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings and Lord of lords,
(Rev 19:11-17 NKJV)  Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS. Then I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in the midst of heaven, "Come and gather together for the supper of the great God,

ROYAL WEDDING ~ ROYAL TREATMENT (Part 2)

Friday April 29th, 2011 ~ Dan and I celebrate our 33rd royal wedding anniversary. That’s right Will and Kate stole our date!  The least they could have done was invite us to the wedding of the century.
Every year in December Dan has the job of writing important dates on the next year’s calendar.  Each year Dan writes our wedding anniversary date on the wrong date.  When I heard the announcement of the upcoming royal wedding date my ears perked because that is our date.  Due to the fact that Dan wrote the wrong date on the calendar he did not believe me when I told him the 29th is our date and the date Will and Kate chose.  In fact I had to get our marriage license out of the safe and show it to him before he believed me. I am real confident he will never mess up our anniversary date again, because from now on the TV will be blasting the royal wedding anniversary; now that is if this marriage endures.  Come on Will and Kate I am cheering you on to a lifelong commitment to marriage.
Unfortunately living together before marriage will increase your chance of divorce.
A study done by Bennett, Blan, and Bloom (American Sociological Review, 1988, Vol 53: 127-138) entitled, "Commitment and the Modern Union: Assessing the Link Between Premarital Cohabitation and Subsequent Marital Stability."
The point made by the authors is that, overall, the risk of divorce after living together is 80% higher than the risk of divorce after not living together, which is already too high. In other words, those who live together before marriage are almost twice as likely to divorce than those who did not live together. But they also point out that the risk of divorce is even higher if you don't live together more than three years prior to marriage. The longer you live together prior to marriage, the less the risk of divorce until after 8 years of living together, when the risk of divorce is equal to those who have not lived together.[i]

What can we do as married couples to ensure a marriage for a lifetime?

The Bible says in 1 Peter 2:9 (NKJV)  But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;
If we are called a royal priesthood seems to me that we should treat one another royally.  How is this possible when two imperfect people live together?  Rest assured whatever the Lord calls us to do He will enable us to fulfill, if we yield the right-a-way.  Throughout scripture we are encouraged to deny ourselves and this is paramount when it comes to the marital union.
Our spouse is not our enemy; yet many times we treat them like the enemy.  The Bible tells us how to treat our enemies; certainly our spouse should be given much better treatment than the enemy.
(Prov 16:7 NKJV)  When a man's ways please the LORD, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.
(Prov 24:17 NKJV)  Do not rejoice when your enemy falls, And do not let your heart be glad when he stumbles;
(Mat 5:44 NKJV)  "But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,
(Luke 6:27 NKJV)  "But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you,
(Rom 12:20 NKJV)  Therefore "If your enemy is hungry, feed him; If he is thirsty, give him a drink; For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head."
We would do very well to follow the example of Jesus in John 13:5 (NKJV)  After that, He poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples' feet, and to wipe them with the towel with which He was girded.  SERVE ONE ANOTHER
Think of something you could do today to bless and serve your spouse (even if they do not deserve it ~ remember about the enemy), then do it.  Blessings and serving are contagious!

ROYAL WEDDING ~ THE ROYAL TREATMENT

ROYAL WEDDING ~ THE ROYAL TREATMENT
A ROYAL WEDDING IS ABOUT TO TAKE PLACE.  For months now we have heard of Prince William, Kate and all about the preparation needed to pull off this royal festive event. Hours and hours have been spent making sure no detail is left undone for this royal affair.   Back-up plans are in place for any incident or disaster that lingers in the shadows.  In fact back-up plans for the back-up plans are secure.  No expense has been spared for this royal gala.  This royal wedding is being called the event of the century.
Prince William and Kate will be on their best behavior this week because the eyes of the world will be focused on their center stage.  No “Bridezilla” or “Prince Pissy” will surface this week, especially on Friday the royal wedding day.  They will be the picture of perfection, at least for one day.
Kate is experiencing every little girls dream, her Prince is sweeping her off her feet.  Prince William is commanding respect and honor other men may never receive.
With all this wedding preparation I wonder how much groundwork has been laid for a marital foundation that will endure a lifetime.  So much time and money has gone into this one day!  Do you think they will treat each other royally behind closed doors, when the world cannot see?
We all know the scandal behind Prince Charles and Princess Diana.  Certainly they did not end up; happily ever after.  Evidently they did not give each other the royal treatment.
What is the royal treatment?  What can we do as married couples or those entering marriage that will truly set us up for a lifetime together?  Is there really a happily ever after?
Sunday we celebrated the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.  Families everywhere gathered together to honor Jesus.  Did we honor Jesus?  Did we honor one another?  I bet if those gathering were displayed on a movie screen most of us would be embarrassed.  Why is it those we love the most and are close to get the royal boot in the behind instead of the royal treatment?  Why do we take advantage of the ones we love?  We exhibit self control in the workplace (most of us do) or we would get the royal boot out the door and experience unemployment.  What can we do to make our home a castle?
We will explore the answer to some of these questions this week.  Stay tuned for more on the royal treatment.
(Psa 127:1 NKJV)  Unless the LORD builds the house, They labor in vain who build it; Unless the LORD guards the city, The watchman stays awake in vain.
